Meet Darren Carden, the owner of TNToverlander, who hosts several events through the Southeast Overland Camping (SOC) Overland/Off-Road group. He hosts training days, large and small vendor events, and trail rides for those with a passion for being in the outdoors!

Darren has several certifications (primarily focusing on first aid and safety), which help in the off-road and overlanding community. Safety and education are his top two priorities when hosting any event or training. His goals are to help the off-road and overlanding community enjoy the hobby safely by providing education to those who are new to the hobby, as well as veteran off-roaders. Collaborating with The Morrison’s Outdoor Adventures is a HUGE benefit to any TNToverlander/SOC event because it allows us to add their knowledge and expertise to our events.

Darren is not only passionate about the overlanding community but also loves doing this hobby with his wife, Morgan, who got him into the off-road lifestyle. Together, they started with 3 jeeps and a Tacoma and slowly added more jeeps to the family. They love leading trail rides, and cross-country travel (and events), as well as meeting all off-road and overland enthusiasts along the way. Teaming up with the TNToverland and Southeast Overland Camping team will not only help you grow in your off-road experience and knowledge, but also offers you a group to join along your travels!
